2020 Pinot Noir, Radian Vineyard

In the westernmost corner of the Sta. Rita hills lies the Radian Vineyard, nestled in a marine-cooled valley among the hilltop bluffs. The 2020 vintage of this Pinot Noir, opens with fresh raspberry and red cherry notes, accented by a savory spice, and unique minerality derived from its clay loam growing site. Fresh and vibrant across the palate, red fruit tones are accented by wild thyme and toasty allspice. Lively on the finish, smooth but ample tannins brush the palate, leaving behind a brightness that is reminiscent of the vineyard’s marine influence.
