2016 Brandlin ThS, Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2016 Brandlin ThS Cabernet Sauvignon is the ultimate bottling from our Brandlin Estate. Blended with a touch of Malbec and Petit Verdot, this wine offers notes of blackberry, black cherry, cassis and violet aromas of sandalwood, cardamom, cocoa and mocha. Fine-grained, silky tannins with a velvety core of plush fruit give the wine weight and volume, but also a well-honed balance. Its 30 months in barrel allowed the wine to soften and marry while integrating the oak and tannin with an ample core of fruit. Named in honor of Thomas Schmidheiney, proprietor of Brandlin, the ThS honor’s the family’s legacy and commitment to world-class wines.
