2014 Brandlin Henry's Keep, Proprietary Red Wine

Multilayered with notes of black currants, violets, camphor and black cherry, the wine is quite round with tones of rose petals and boysenberry.  The more aromatic components, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, give way to mocha-inflected coffee and black tea notes. The vintage is sneaky-powerful as wines appear floral and charming on the nose but pack a robust punch on the palate.

Barrel Aging: 22 months in French oak puncheons (75% new)

Blend:  86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc & 3% Petit Verdot

Alcohol: 14.5%

Acid: 5.7g/l

pH 3.79
